Lee Yancey is dedicated to putting his clients’ needs first and celebrating their financial successes. As an Investment Advisor Representative at Element Wealth, Lee’s mission is to help individuals and families construct successful financial plans that help them achieve their goals. He believes that building strong relationships based on trust is key to guiding clients through their financial journeys.

Lee began his career in wealth management with Woodridge Capital in 2008, and after a merger in 2018, he transitioned to the Element Wealth family. He holds the Series 65 license and is also licensed in Accident, Health or Sickness, Life Insurance, as well as Property and Casualty.

Lee’s professional background spans across both business and government. He served in the Mississippi Senate from 2008 to 2012, where he held influential positions, including Vice Chairman of the Highways and Transportation Committee, and a member of various committees including Finance, Ethics, and Education. Lee was consistently recognized for his leadership, earning A ratings as a Business Champion from the Business and Industry Political Education Committee throughout his Senate tenure.

In addition to his time in the Senate, Lee has received numerous honors, including the Key to the City of Flowood in 2009, and was a charter member of the Mississippi National Guard Legislative Caucus. In 2013, he was appointed by Governor Phil Bryant to serve a five-year term on the Mississippi State Personnel Board, where he also served as Chairman from 2017 to 2018. Lee was recognized as one of Mississippi’s Top 50 Influential Policy Makers in 2022.

Lee currently serves as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for District 74, a role he has held since 2019. He is Chairman of the Business and Commerce Committee and serves on multiple other committees, including Energy, Insurance, and Public Health and Welfare.

A 1991 graduate of Mississippi College, Lee also holds both a master’s and a doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Outside of his professional life, Lee is an avid golfer and has completed six marathons. He and his wife, Courtney, have two children, Benton (married to Sarah) and Blakeley, and two grandchildren. Lee is also deeply involved in his community, serving as a past president of the Flowood Rotary Club and earning the Paul Harris Fellow recognition for his contributions to The Rotary Foundation. He is a member of Pinelake Church.
